TELA COUTURE is an online based boutique specializing in authentic vintage pieces pioneered by sisters: Mandi, Trixi, & Lizzi. A project introduced in September 2010 (http://telacouture.multiply.com), the first few collections were based on the purpose of pocket money for their first ever trip to New York City to visit their only brother Ej.
Today, Tela Couture follows a different track. A new site with a new approach, Tela Couture is designed to support the art and design of fashion through the use of technology and utmost creativity. A fresh set of collaborations with photographers, makeup artists, models, etc. It is now fostered as a creative output to not only sell authentic pieces but to also tell a story through them. Tela Couture aims to provide females that flare of and for fashion, a chance to backtrack and turn vintage "tela" (fabric in Filipino) into timeless couture.
Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.
